It all started with an uncomfortable feeling. I showed up for lunch with someone important and couldn't remember anything they'd told me the time before. Not their child's name, not the trip they were planning, not the problem they had at work. I left feeling like I'd let them down.
I looked for an app that would help me remember people — not their contact details, but who they are. I couldn't find anything that felt human, private, and simple all at once. So I built it.
Rex Journal isn't a CRM. It's a notebook. Your notebook, on your phone, with no servers storing your things and no algorithms using them.

The goal
We live in a world that asks us to remember passwords, deadlines, and notifications. But nobody gives us a tool to remember what really matters: the stories, interests, and moments of the people we want close to us.
Rex Journal exists to fill that gap. Not with artificial intelligence or recommendation algorithms. With a well-designed notebook — fast, private, and always available.
